What every manuscript undergoes.

Every manuscript submitted to the Journal of AI-Driven Drug Discovery passes a structured technical-integrity review before being sent to peer reviewers. The standard is applied uniformly to all submissions, regardless of author affiliation, institution or seniority.

Scope & Completeness

• Scope alignment with the journal’s aims
• Presence of all required statements (Data Availability, Ethics, Funding, Conflict of Interest, AI-use disclosure)
• Formal completeness of manuscript structure

Figure & Statistical Quality

• Figure resolution and accessibility (including colourblind-friendly assessment)
• Statistical reporting completeness (effect sizes, confidence intervals, sample-size consistency)
• Data / code repository availability and accessibility

Research Integrity

• Plagiarism screening
• Duplicate-submission check
• Citation of retracted works
• Integrity-statement consistency

Manuscripts that pass this review proceed to double-blind peer review. Authors receive specific feedback on any items that require attention before review can begin.
